Like you I played with it for a couple of weeks and haven’t been back since.

With google it is always a “we may or may not use x for search” and on this one it is likely to not be in use in any meaningful way for quite some time.

Appreciate your thoughts on my post, and on how Google is collecting information while providing useful tools.

I’d guess that Google is paying attention to many of the other tools that they provide to people, and how those folks use the tools; from searches to personalize search to alerts to the toolbar, and many others.

I’d venture a guess that Google Toolbar bookmarked favorites may already be playing a role in what you see, especially if you are using personalized search.
